Check out the photo. Pretty wild, right? It was taken at night, from inside my kitchen, looking out the window. The moon was out and took a picture of the NYC skyline. After I took the picture, I saw the image on my iPhone. Had a rough quality to it, so I tweaked it with filters, creating this weird, surreal long shot. It’s looks like the hot sun emerging behind one of the buildings, emanating the rising heat, a golden glow against the brown green dark sky. Almost looks like a fiery hellish urban landscape.

But let me get to the point, put away the poetics for a minute. Going to give you a heads up as to what’s going on. A couple of film clients contacted me, recently. A few storyboard jobs in the works, a few scripts coming my way. Some proposals sent out, talkin’ about budgets, see what can work out. Been busy in the film business. Networking, building it up. Keep going and don’t stop. Busy, no complaints.

Still working on a few sequential pages, and character designs on a separate project. Even music production and mixes. Have done music/sync music for film and one of my many goals, is to keep doing music for film, just as I do storyboards and concept art. Maybe one day take a crack in writing screenplays? Cinematography would be awesome too. Done some editing. Directing would be tops too, but challenging. You have to be extremely committed. Would it take me away from the music and the art? It would be great to do everything: write the script, draw the boards, cast the film, do the lighting, direct the film and then edit and score/compose music for the film. Same thing with comics/sequential art. Write the story, draw, ink, color and letter the pages. Do it all. One of my goals. Be an auteur.
